About

I’ve always been a go-getter, an achiever, a hard worker, and someone who knows what I want. But, after a potentially life-threatening health scare in 2003, I set out on a journey to discover greater physical health. That journey led me not only to the physical health I craved, but also to greater mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Sometimes a simple suggestion can create an amazing transformation in your life. That’s been my experience. Most of the tools I have discovered are not complicated, hard to remember, or hard to implement. That’s important to me, because I’m a real person, and I live a real life: I run my own business, cook dinner for my family, run my teenager to basketball games, and (constantly) run after my three year-old. Running can take over our existence, and we lose sight of why we are here, and what we want to create in our lives. I’ve learned to be more purposeful than that, to take the time to reflect and plan, and to set intentions for what I want my life to be.

Because I believe that everything happens for a reason, my life has been an ongoing lesson filled with opportunities to grow into my fullest potential. I believe we are all here to achieve this same goal: to learn how to live to the highest and best within us. Our individual journeys are as unique as each one of us, yet there are universal truths that appear as guideposts along the way. Those universal truths are the foundations upon which I build my own life, and the message I want to share with the world.

I want to help others find the joy, contentment, and success that comes from a keen self-awareness of who they are as individuals, and to learn the tools necessary for recognizing their own needs, and how to take care of those needs. I believe that each of us has the need to give, to receive, and to achieve.

In honoring this commitment I provide the following:

  • I share my philosophy and foundational tools with individuals, teams and businesses through fun, interactive keynote presentations and trainings.
  • I write a blog, where I freely share key insights and my GoTo Methods for creating a healthier, happier, and more productive life.
  • I am writing a book, Motivated: Unleash Your Mojo; Get Healthy, Be Productive, Be Happy, which will provide a wide array of helpful strategies for achieving a full and creative life.
  • I have a Facebook page and Twitter feed, where I share empowering and strengthening hints for daily living, including words of wisdom gleaned from respected teachers and community members.

My journey isn’t over. I continue to be a student, as well as a teacher, and as my quest continues, I will be sharing what I learn. I invite you to be a part of my community of learners, and to share this journey with me.
